The Importance of Loading Days

Phase 1 of the HCG Diet, also known as “loading days” or “gorging days” is as important as the rest of the Phases of the HCG Diet. However, many dieters do not load properly because they find it counter-productive. What’s the point of eating and eating if your goal is to lose weight? It’s way wrong. Eating high fat foods to full capacity during those days act as a catalyst, ensuring sufficient blood leptin is stimulated by the fourth days that warrant the drastic drop to the 500-calorie protocol.”

  1. Loading days will help you handle your first week of low-calorie diet without severe hunger pains. When you begin with your low-calorie diet, your body will use first the fat stores from loading for energy. If you will not load you can become very hungry during the first week. Do not worry about gaining additional weight because it will just drop down very quickly.
  1. Loading days are needed to stimulate the leptin in your body. Leptin is the hormone in your body that tells your brain that you have enough fat and that you don’t need to eat and can burn them at a normal rate. Loading days act as a catalyst on your fat cells, ensuring that enough leptin is stimulated.
