HCG Diet Phase 2 Tips

To avoid any pitfalls during the HCG Diet phase 2, we’ve compiled helpful tips on one page just for you!

  • Once you’re done with phase 2, see to it that you take after pictures and measurement of your body to see how far you have come. It will also help motivate you more along the way.
  • Be mindful of the tomato and onion serving sizes. These two have higher carbs than other vegetables.
  • Use only canned tuna that’s packed in water instead of oil.
  • Use spices with caution. Check for oil, sugar and starch content. Use only the HCG Diet approved spices.
  • Mixing of vegetables is not allowed on phase 2 of the HCG Diet. Mixing of vegetable may cause a stall on your weight loss.
  • To increase your weight loss, try to increase your water intake. Drink a least a minimum of 2 liters each day.
  • Stay out of the sun to avoid water retention and stalls.
  • Avoid flavored coffee and flavored tea. They may contain hidden oils and sugar which can slow down your weight loss process.
  • Drink a couple of cups of green tea every day to maximize your weight loss. Drinking a cup of green tea is also a great way to relieve constipation.
  • Make refreshing and delicious lemonade by mixing a serving of lemon with ice water and stevia. You are allowed a lemon each day.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your meal for a maximum weight loss.
  • Stay away from mints and chewing gums when on the HCG Diet even if it says sugar-free.
  • Do not drink diet sodas  on the 500 calories diet. Diet soda can cause a major stall on your weight.
  • Make it sure to get enough sleep in order to get the maximum weight loss result.
  • Eat only lean meat. Be careful with ground beef. Choose the T-bone, top sirloin, filet mignon, tenderloin and flank steak cut.
  • Try to have different proteins for each day to maximize your weight loss.
  • If you are taking vitamin supplements, its best to hold them off until after the very low calorie diet.
  • Be aware of everything you touch. Remember the “No oil rule” that includes touching things that contain oil.
  • Use only oil-free and mineral powder-based makeup for a best weight loss result. Lip balms are also not allowed. You may use mineral oil or baby oil,
  • Look for words that end with –tol, -ose, dextrose, and –dextrin. All these are forms of sugar that may be present of the foods that you eat or on the spices that you are using.
  • If you are carving for something sweet, get a cut of apple and sprinkle it with cinnamon and stevia then microwave it for 2 minutes.
  • Do not cheat! Cheating on the HCG Diet can cause a major stall on your diet and it can take up to 3 days to recover.
